Dairy Free Chocolate, Berry and Chia Mousse

Today we are going to learn how to do a superfood recipe that will energise you. It's probably one of the easiest and quickest dessert recipes ever. Try it! When I created this dish I was thinking in something like a mousse, nice and soft, but without dairy, cream and sugar. I want to invent a dessert that was high in nutrients, essential fats and with fat burning properties. Most people don’t eat sweet things because they fear putting on weight. This dessert is different. It is low in sugar, high in fibre, protein, omega-3, minerals and vitamins. It’s a great dish for the whole family.


1 tin of organic coconut cream
200ml coconut water
1 small cup (100g) of chia seeds
1 small cup (100g) of berries raspberries or blackberries
½ cup of dried goji berries
2-4 tablespoon of honey, xylitol or stevia (4 teaspoon)
2-4 tablespoon of raw cacao

How to do it?

Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend for 1-2 minutes or until homogenized consistency.

Check the taste and sweetness. In case need a extra touch of something, feel free to fix it. Blend it again.

Pour into serving cups. Ideal portions are between 50ml-100ml per person. It is a quite rich dessert, so be careful.

Set in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving.

It keeps for over 4-5 days in the fridge if refrigerated and properly stored.
